Lunga Msengana - Profile
Lunga is a Professional Engineering Technologist registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and holds a BSc Hons in Applied Science (with specialization in Electronic Engineering). Years later his passion for projects led him to formally studying Project Management, which he obtained a Masters of Commerce in Project Management (Cum Laude).
In his career life, he has worked as a Technician, Business Analyst, Engineer and Project Manager. He had the opportunity to work for Denel, Saab Tech, Molapo Technology and Vodacom SA. He is currently a project manager at Eskom Enterprises. He is a Part-time Associate Lecturer at Cranefield College of Project and Programme Management. Lunga is also a member of Association for Project Management South Africa (APMSA) and the Institute of Directors (IoD).
Lunga serves as the National President of Project Management South Africa (PMSA). He has authored a published book "The Missing Link in Projects". The book gives full credit to the human factor in project management and it acknowledges the vital role people play in the unfolding of projects. In his book, Lunga advocates that the human aspect in projects is the most neglected. He discusses the topics in simple terms that can be easily understood.
